The Bristol Hi-Fi Show 2020 – Preview

We’re taking our annual trip to the Bristol Hi-Fi Show next Friday, to listen to the latest and most advanced technology in the world of hi-fi.

Last year we were blown away by the sound of Chord Electronics M-Scaler, so we’re excited to see what they have on demo, along with some other favourites.

Linn Audio – We’ll get to listen to the new Series 3 wireless speaker & Selekt DSM with Space Optimisation. As well as the perennial classic turntable – Sondek LP12.

Bowers & Wilkins – Have the latest PX7 headphones, 600 series loudspeakers & the Rotel Michi system ( boasting a room shaking 3600 watts ) paired with the iconic 800 D3 in Santos Rosewood finish.

Neat Acoustics – Showcase the new Ministra loudspeaker – a compact bookshelf version of the EKSTRA, which also includes their famed iso-baric bass loading.

We’ll also be dropping in on Emmy award-winning PMC, Cyrus who will demo the ONE Cast, and Rega who have 3 brand new products which they are keeping us guessing about…

Michell Engineering – have a new range of Moving Coil cartridges which are to enhance the sound of their already spectacular turntables.

JBL – we’ll get to hear the JBL L82 bookshelf speakers, the compact cousin of last year’s standout JBL 100s.

Let’s hope they are just as colourful, and sound as good.

Hopefully, see you down there!

Unable to make it to Bristol? We’ll have a full review of the highlights. Or visit our North London shop and get a personalised demo.

Are the new bookshelf speakers a match for last year’s JBL L100s?
