JBL JS-80 Stand
The JBL JS-80 stand, designed exclusively for the JBL L82 classic is a solidly welded from heavy 14 gauge steel they provide tremendous mass, strength and excellent acoustic characteristics holding capacity up to 250 lbs.
Resonance is suppressed with a limestone acrylic composite core for a very solid and inert speaker base finished in a high-durability satin-black textured powder-coat which beautifully compliments classic speaker designs.
JBL is an American company that manufactures audio equipment, including loudspeakers, headphones, etc. There are two independent divisions within the company – JBL Consumer and JBL Professional. JBL was founded by James Bullough Lansing (1902–1949) who was a pioneering American audio engineer and loudspeaker designer most notable for establishing two audio companies that bear his name, Altec Lansing and JBL, the latter taken from his initials.
JBL’s founder helped motion pictures speak. From then on, they’ve been continuously advancing the science of high-fidelity sound reproduction, right on up to and including Synthesis Ultra. As the Jazz Singer put it back in 1928, “You ain’t heard nothin’ yet.”
