Dan D’Agostino - Progression Pre-Amplifier
The Progression Preamplifier is a high-end audio component from D'Agostino. It features several new features and technologies not previously available in D'Agostino preamps.
Optional digital module: The Progression Preamplifier can be optionally upgraded with a digital module that adds coaxial, Toslink, and USB inputs. The digital module features a fully differential DAC that can handle PCM signals up to 24 bit/384 KHz and DSD signals up to 4xDSD (11.2 MHz).
Discrete, fully complementary and balanced analogue signal path: The digital module feeds a discrete, fully complementary and balanced analog signal path from input to output. This results in a very linear and wide bandwidth design with open-loop distortion of less than 0.006% and open loop bandwidth of over 100KHz.
No negative feedback: The Progression Preamplifier does not use any negative feedback. This results in a more natural and transparent sound.
Bluetooth remote control: The Progression Preamplifier includes a Bluetooth remote control. The Bluetooth backbone extends the range of the remote by a factor of five and eliminates line of sight limitations that are inherent in IR remote controls.
